Coming soon! Tranlink Smartpass smart card readers being installed

Well we are close to entering a new era for Translink. Gates and translink smartpass readers are now being installed along the Millennium link starting today. In case this is your first reading of the Translink Smartpass, it’s coming in about a year and will do away with traditional tickets. It’s a more secure method of paying for your transit. We’ve also heard that Translink will be having a type of smartpass reward system or a method to offer various discounts at retailers such as coffee shops. Regardless, the smart card and gates will be good for some and bad for others.
