About

I live in Vancouver BC and have no shortages of opinions. I needed an outlet for my opinions so I started this blog. If you are university educated you may cringe at my English writing skills. I apologize in advance but I type from the hip. I’ll write as I feel and the structure or punctuation may be incorrect. At least I have a spell check and that’s about all I can promise you! I just want to be interesting to read about and not get caught up in what is right or wrong in terms of proper English. I’m an example of not paying enough attention during high school. What can I say?

I care about this city, this province and this country. I’m passionate about what’s going on and the decisions that politicians make. If it’s current, I want to talk about it. I hope you share some of the same passion about current events and news regarding Vancouver and the lower mainland. Join me in the conversation and healthy debates. Get our your frustrations. Go ahead and rant! Just keep it honorable and minimal on the insults.

My philosophy on VancouverBlog.ca is to adhere to respectful conversation. In other words, please do as I do. Write your thoughts, but do so as if you were standing face to face with the person or persons that you are discussing. It keeps the comments fair and respectful. Just because we stand behind a keyboard and internet connection does not mean we need to lose sight of respect when it comes to blog comments.

I hope this makes sense and you become a regular here on Vancouver’s newest blog. Thanks for stopping in!
